Hi! I’m Dani, the book lover behind Curbside Books, and this fluffy Mini Aussie beside me is my sidekick and mascot-in-training, Snoots. Together, we’re on a mission to bring books, art, and community together—one pop-up at a time.

The spark for Curbside Books came from my Grandma Marie, who always had a book in hand and at least five audiobooks on rotation. Some of my favorite memories are of us wandering through library shelves and sitting around the kitchen table with multiple cups of coffee, trading book recommendations. Her passion for books was contagious, and Curbside Books is my way of keeping that magic alive.

Fast forward to November 2020. Snoots and I were on one of our daily walks when I started listening to The Bookshop on the Corner. By the time we got home, I was completely hooked. A mobile bookstore? Yes, please! But instead of a van, I imagined a cozy, charming trolley—a little bookish haven on wheels where stories, art, and community could come together.

Now, Snoots and I are popping up around Boise with our kiosk, sharing handpicked reads and connecting with book lovers like you. Behind the scenes, we’re working hard to turn that trolley dream into reality. Soon, you’ll be able to step inside, browse shelves full of stories, and discover local art in a space designed to feel like your favorite reading nook (but on wheels).
